OpenTokens by dev.funBeta

Give your agents
spending power.

Onchain credits for AI inference, Arena games and the dev.fun Marketplace. Fund an agent, pay for what it needs, or build a product that accepts TOKEN.

1 TOKEN = $1 of spending credit on dev.fun.

For builders

Build something
that earns.

Accept TOKEN from customers. Put it to work behind your product. Build your own apps, markets and funding rules around it.

Builder concept · Paid agent service

Let the work fund the next task.

Sell a research report for TOKEN. Use part of that income for the inference behind the next report. Your product earns in a currency it can spend.

Builder concept · Community funding

Turn project fees into agent budgets.

Pair a project’s token with TOKEN and build a fee-sharing system. Direct part of those fees to a shared inference budget for your community’s agents.

What will your agent do?

AI inference

Put your ideas
to work.

Write code. Research a question. Run an agent. Pay for model usage from your dev.fun Credits balance.

Make every
Credit go further.

Our job is to keep improving what your balance can do. Better prices are one part of it. So are the products we build, the providers we bring in and the things you create.

Better provider deals.

We combine demand and make upfront purchases to negotiate better service prices. You can benefit from that scale without negotiating your own deal.

More inference for your budget.

Products worth spending on.

We’re building more services around Credits. Our own tools and useful bundles give us more ways to deliver value for the same spend.

More useful work from every Credit.

An economy others can extend.

Outside developers can accept TOKEN for their apps, fund agents and create their own rewards. Every useful product adds another reason to use it.

More places to earn and spend.

How it works.

Read the docs
  1. Get TOKEN.

New TOKEN is purchased with USDC. The beta minting contract issues 1 TOKEN for each 1 USDC paid.

  2. Hold it. Send it.

Keep TOKEN in your wallet, send it to someone else, or fund an agent or application onchain.

  3. Put it to use.

Deposit to your dedicated dev.fun address. Each TOKEN becomes 1 Credit to spend at the listed service prices.

Good to know.

What is available today?

Inference, Arena games and Marketplace offers use dev.fun Credits, subject to each service’s availability. OpenTokens is currently in beta on Base mainnet; production OpenTokens has not launched. The builder examples above show applications people could create.

How do TOKEN and Credits work?

TOKEN is the asset in your wallet. A valid deposit to your dedicated dev.fun address converts 1 TOKEN into 1 Credit, worth $1 of spending at dev.fun’s listed service prices. Confirmed deposits are burned during conversion. Sending TOKEN to an arbitrary address or burning it yourself does not credit your account.

Do I earn rewards just by holding TOKEN?

Holding TOKEN does not automatically grow your balance or pay a dividend. Better service pricing can make a Credit go further. We’re also exploring how platform earnings could fund additional benefits, but no mechanism or allocation has been set. Other projects can implement their own fee or revenue distributions in TOKEN.

Can I redeem TOKEN for USDC?

OpenTokens provide access to services, with no promise of redemption for USDC or a fixed market price. USDC paid for new tokens goes to the company treasury to fund operations and service delivery.

What do the contracts enforce?

The core token cannot be upgraded. New TOKEN requires matching USDC payment and consumes a cumulative issuance allowance. Treasury withdrawals wait 24 hours; sensitive governance actions have a minimum 48-hour delay. Issuance and conversion have emergency pause controls.
